Villa to Rent in Costa Blanca Spain

This is our family home in Cabo Roig, 5 miles south of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca which we rent out when we are not using it ourselves. Cabo Roig is a small town on the South Costa Blanca situated just 5 miles south of Torrevieja which is the nearest large town.

The modern house is situated at the end of a private road immediately next to the swimming pool. It is a quiet residential area but is only a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants, and is only a 15 minutes walk away from one of the many beautiful, clean and safe beaches. The house is clean, well maintained and has everything you need for a wonderful holiday.

The large communal swimming pool with shallow children's paddling pool is immediately adjacent to the house and is open from 10am to 10pm. The pool is private for the use of residents and guests and even in the peak months of July and August is not too crowded. The pool is set within a well kept landscaped area with palms and bourganvillea. The pool is enclosed on all sides accessible through locked gates so there is no danger of small children running into busy roads.

The local beaches are clean and safe with fabulous golden soft sand, beach café/bars, climbing frames, volleyball nets and children’s play equipment. Cabo Roig beach is a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes drive away. The blue flag beaches of La Zenia and Playa Flamenca are also only a 5-minute drive away. The Blue Flag beaches running down the coast have endless pretty coves with golden sand and are only a short drive away.

The Mar Menor is about 30 minutes drive away and is a wonderful setting for water sports. Playa Flamenca, just south of Torrevieja, boasts an aqua park, horse riding and go-karting. Within driving distance there are zoos, theme parks, aqua parks, wildlife centres, and other attractions.

The house has over 90 sq metres of space spread over three floors so the living area is not cramped and is unusually large.

On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge/diner with 2 & 3 seater sofas (the 3 seater sofa opens into a double bed), dining table and 4 chairs, with a breakfast bar that sits 3. Colour TV with English channels and satellite channels. Sony CD/Cassette/Radio, Playstation, books, 2 ceiling fans. Window overlooks the swimming pool. Front door leads to patio area. There is a fully tiled spacious kitchen with pine storage units and marble worktops. Fully fitted with fan oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery, glasses, saucepans, cooking utensils etc. Window overlooks the swimming pool. On the ground floor there is a single bedroom with a single bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside table and reading light and a ceiling fan. Also there is a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Stairs lead up to the first floor.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan, bedside tables and reading lights. Sliding patio doors lead from both bedrooms to a sun balcony overlooking the swimming pool. There is a large fully tiled family bathroom with bath, shower, wc and bidet, sink with vanity unit and mirror. Stairs lead up to the large private, secluded sunroof with views over the swimming pool. The sunroof gets sun all day and is perfect for private sunbathing or sitting peacefully during the evening sipping cocktails when the children are in bed. On the sunroof there is a swinging sun lounger with sun canopy, two sun chairs. Washing line.

There is a sunny patio area looking out to the front of the house with a large retractable sun awning for shade. Picnic table and six chairs. To the side of the house there is a paved driveway for off-road parking for one car and a small garden with flowering shrubs and a small lemon tree.

The house has a security alarm. All windows have security grills and lockable shutters. The sliding doors leading to the sun balcony have security gates. The door leading to the sunroof also has a security gate.

The accommodation will sleep up to 7 people but if you have a large party contact us as we may be able to accommodate additional parties in a nearby villa. Smokers are welcome but we ask you not to smoke inside the house.

The accommodation is not suitable for all male or all female parties under 25.
