Our spacious 3 bed/2 bath ground and first floor apartments are a complete home from home, fully furnished and sleeping up to 8 guests each. They have 3 bedrooms (2 queen doubles and 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite), with a double sofa-bed in the living area. A foldaway child's cot is also provided. With a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and microwave), 2 TVs, DVD player, mini stereo, washing machine and tumble dryer there is everything you could need.
Amenities on the complex include gated security, 4 swimming pools, 6 spa pools, Kiddies pool & play area, Clubhouse Reception with Mambo’s poolside bar & grill, relaxing lounge areas, mini-market, gym, sauna & shower facilities, Eleuthera Health Spa & Salon, children’s playroom, mini-cinema, internet café, ticket & information point and a tennis/basketball court. The Tradewinds Restaurant and Bars are located on the lakeshore, along with a sandy beach, volleyball area and fishing dock.
ACCOMMODATION:
Bedrooms: Master Bedroom with Queen size double bed, ensuite bathroom, TV and small patio terrace.
Bedroom 2 with Queen size double bed.
Bedroom 3 with Twin beds.
Bathrooms: Ensuite bathroom to Master Bedroom has a bath, electric shower, basin unit and WC. Switch for extractor fan and large linen/towel cupboard.
Second bathroom (located outside the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms) has a washbasin unit, WC and large walk-in shower.
Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and blender. China and cutlery for 8 guests, plenty of dishes, pots & pans, even a set of picnic ware. Handy Electronic Safe.
A utility closet houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, laundy basket, iron & board, vacuum cleaner and broom. The controls to the air conditioning/heating system are located just outside the closet.
The Lounge/Dining Room is the centre of the apartment, comprising a large dining table with 6 chairs, 3-seated (double) sofa bed & 2-seated sofa. Media unit with cable TV, DVD player & hifi system. Patio doors to a small patio area overlooking gardens.
All linen and towels are provided. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned prior to guest's arrival and then after departure.
Wheelchair friendly:
One apartment is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair friendly, with wide doorways and plenty of space in the apartment. The only accesses which may be restricted are the small patio areas. There is designated disabled parking close to the front door. All pathways throughout the complex are suitable for wheelchair users.
BAHAMA BAY RESORT:
Bahama Bay Resort Clubhouse with 24-hour Reception, includes relaxing lounge areas, bar & grille, children's playroom & mini cinema, internet cafe, small shop, DVD hire, gym, sauna & shower facilities, Health Spa & Salon. The Resort has 3 swimming pools, 5 hot-tubs, walking trails, tennis/basketball court, Kiddies pool and playground, full service restaurant & tiki bar, lovely sandy beach with volleyball area and fishing dock located on the shore of Lake Davenport.
TRAVEL:
Fly into either Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando Sanford Intl. Airport (SFA) or Tampa Intl. Airport (TPA).
Travel times from each airport to Bahama Bay Resort are approx 45 mins, 65 mins or 75 mins respectively on good roads (freeways). Full directions and maps will be provided to the guest before they travel.
There are several well known car hire companies at each airport and pickup is easy and straightforward, however we would recommend pre-booking car hire.
Further details
The Resort can be found just off US-27, near the intersection of US-192 (Irlo Bronson Hwy). There are a number of restaurants, gift shops, supermarkets and banks within minutes of the complex.

A £100 / $200 deposit is required on booking confirmation - full settlement of the balance must be received 6 weeks prior to departure. Receipts are provided for all monies paid. Personal cheques accepted in either UK pounds or $US, along with direct bank transfers for payments in other currencies (eg CAD$, AUS$ or Euros). Credit cards are accepted via PayPal. (We are UK residents).
