The Right Resort - About Us

The Right Resort is owned and ran by Redstone Media. We are a family business based in South Shields in the Northeast of England. Based on the experience of Richard Smith, the company founder, who worked with an international blue chip company in both sales and marketing, we set the business (called Marketing Concepts) up in 1987 to provide marketing media and services to clients throughout the UK. We still work with many of them now.

Our services have always included conventional marketing such as graphics, design and print, advertising, exhibitions, PR, photography and marketing strategy.

We started using computers to help in marketing very early in our business - back in 1988 we were typesetting and creating brochures on PC. Then we stared to create interactive electronic catalogues on floppy disk and then computer animation's to help sell products and services for our clients.

With the advent of the Internet we started looking at this as a way of marketing and created our first web site in 1998 which offered computer disks for sale as well as our services. Now we develop web sites as an integral part of our client based marketing along with e-commerce systems to sell everything from batteries through poetry, to exhibition systems and business management manuals.

We understood very early that having a good web site meant nothing if nobody knew about it. So we started marketing web sites to search engines and have now perfected this to the degree that we can achieve top level placement in the main search engines for our clients and our own web sites. This brings the benefit of enquiries and sales not just from a local region but worldwide 24 hours a day 7 days a week every week!

Interactive media is another area that we have expertise in and create multimedia presentations for sales, training and e-learning to a selected range of clients.
