Although Scotland shares many aspects of its culture with
the rest of the United Kingdom, there is distinct cultural
differences identifable in some areas. There exists a distinct
Scottish national identity which is present in the Scottish
cultural scene.
The culture of Scotland is the national culture of Scotland.
It originates from various differences, some entrenched as
part of the Act of Union, others facets of nationhood not
readily defined but readily identifiable.
